Yes, Clara is powered by advanced AI. We're transparent about this, because we believe honesty builds trust. Most of our users find that after a few calls, it simply feels like talking to a caring friend who remembers everything.

No, and it's not meant to. Clara fills the gaps between your calls, not the place of them. Her notes also give you something real to talk about the next time you pick up the phone: the roses, the neighbor's visit, the knee that's been acting up.

Clara is $49/month for daily calls. Families who join through the waitlist get our founding-family rate of $29/month, locked in for as long as they stay subscribed. No contracts, cancel anytime.

If your parent doesn't answer, Clara will try again after a short while. If they still don't answer after the number of attempts you've set, we'll send you a notification so you can check in. You're always in control of how this works.

Clara is a companion, not an emergency service. If your parent mentions something urgent during a call, Clara encourages them to hang up and call 911, and alerts you right away. For medical monitoring or emergency response, please use a dedicated service alongside Clara.

Privacy is at the core of everything we build. We don't record or store conversations. Personal data is encrypted and never shared with third parties. We're committed to treating your family's information with the same care we'd want for our own.

Absolutely. During setup, you can share topics your parent enjoys: their garden, grandkids, favorite shows, hobbies. Clara uses this as a starting point and learns more with every conversation, making each call more personal over time.

Yes. You can add family members to the account so everyone who shares the caregiving gets the call notes and alerts, so no more relaying everything yourself.
